Upgrade your existing beach trolley to the Motorised Trolley.
It’s getting hard to push the old Beach Trolley along the beach – It’s time to upgrade to the Motorised Trolley.
We can upgrade your old beach trolley to a Motorised Trolley at a lower cost than buying a new one. We reuse the wooden tops, sidebars, front bar, and front tyre. The base and handle are replaced with new parts, and you get new rear tyres.

You will need to bring your old beach trolley to us, as several of the parts are reused in the upgrade.
The upgrade process is done at the Seahorse factory and involves replacing the base section, which holds the motors, control unit, and batteries. The handle is modified by adding a finger-operated throttle, and the trolley is completely checked to ensure everything is in “tip-top” working condition.
The Seahorse Motorised Trolley is powered by 2 * 24v, 400-watt powerful electric motors that will drive its load up to two km through very soft sand and over 7 km on the road. The design of the motorised trolley is based on the successful Seahorse Beach Trolley, which is why we can offer an upgrade to existing trolley owners.
The Seahorse Motorised Trolley had a complete re-design in 2013, improving the design of the base to hold the new
Trolley motorswaterproof control unit. The thump throttle gives the user complete control over the trolley’s speed. The Seahorse Motorised trolleys now have reverse, allowing you to just back up the beach if needed.
The rear tyres are upgraded to a larger, fatter tyre to give extra grip in the sand and the ability to float over the soft sand, allowing you to travel further and
climb higher. The rear tyres can be set to freewheel, enabling you to push if required.
The battery box has room for an extra set of batteries, allowing you to double your range or carry the
extra batteries for the Seahorse.
The trolley will drive up most sand hills you can walk up. This means you can access the beach along any walking track through the sand hills.
