Christmas and Couriers

The last date for Christmas delivery for the North Island is Thursday, 19th December and Monday 16th December, for the South Island. Add a couple of days extra for rural deliveries.

We are closed 12 noon on 24th December to the 6th of January.

Any orders placed during this period will be despatched from the 6th of January onwards.

    The Japanese are well known for having some of the best knives (and swords) in the world. This Japanese knife is perfect for cutting bait, chopping up fish, cutting nylon and general use on the beach.

    We choose this knife as it is solid, strong and robust, plus it is perfect for the job.

    1. The blade is 4mm thick and its weight is 252 grams.
    2. The blade is made from a hard Stainless Steel which is good at retaining a sharp edge.
    3. The sharp 50-degree point gives excellent control as to where you cut.
    4. The 16-degree double bevel edge
    5. The blade is 155mm or 6 inches long
    6. The large finger hole is designed to give a secure grip of the knife.
    7. The 4mm blade runs the full length of the handle for maximum strength
    8. The full Tang wooden handle is curved for a comfortable grip.
    9. Comes with a practical leather sheath to protect the blade.
    10. The unique patterned sides help to stop the blade slicking.
