The Japanese are well known for having some of the best knives (and swords) in the world. This Japanese knife is perfect for cutting bait, chopping up fish, cutting nylon and general use on the beach.

We choose this knife as it is solid, strong and robust, plus it is perfect for the job.
- The blade is 4mm thick and its weight is 252 grams.
- The blade is made from a hard Stainless Steel which is good at retaining a sharp edge.
- The sharp 50-degree point gives excellent control as to where you cut.
- The 16-degree double bevel edge
- The blade is 155mm or 6 inches long
- The large finger hole is designed to give a secure grip of the knife.
- The 4mm blade runs the full length of the handle for maximum strength
- The full Tang wooden handle is curved for a comfortable grip.
- Comes with a practical leather sheath to protect the blade.
- The unique patterned sides help to stop the blade slicking.
- The blade is not dishwasher-proof, like all good blades, it needs to be washed by hand
