We are making it a long weekend, and I am hoping to find a couple of spare hours to set the Kontiki.

A pack of 10 Tube Traces for easier handling.
A pack of 10 traces with plastic tubes over ¾ of their length. The tube is designed to stiffen the trace and reduce twisting.
The tubing prevents the traces from twisting around the mainline. This makes them much easier to remove from the line and handle, as they don’t tangle as easily as non-tube traces.
The tube is glued at the swivel end, keeping the hooks free. It has been reported these traces catch more fish.
The clips on new traces can be tight. The clips can be forced open with either a screwdriver or a set of pliers, making it easier to get them onto and off the line.
