    Tow Strop

    The Tow Strop is a loop of black nylon cord that connects the mono-filament line to the Kontiki. The Tow Strop helps protect the monofilament line from damage and provides an easy-to-hold line at the stern of the Kontiki.

    The Tow Strop adds protection to the fishing line. If the Kontiki gets rolled in the surf and the line tangles around the Kontiki, it is the Tow Strop, not the Mono-filament line that gets wrapped around the motor.
