Seahorse Drone Drums with Line for Existing Winches
We have developed Drone Drums to fit into all the exiting Seahorse and Wavefisher Winches.
These drums have a larger core to hold the lesser volume of the 130lb B/S braid that is used with the Trident 5000 Fishing Drone.
This allows you to keep your existing winch and simply swap the drums over to go drone fishing.
Features
The line is set up with a nylon backing which binds the braid to the drum, 200 meters of 300lb B/S braid, 1000 meters of 130lb B/S braid and 50 meters of the looped polyester line for the traces and weights.
The larger core drums have the advantage of rotating slower on the deployment of the line and retrieving the line quicker on retrieval. Due to the mass of the drum, it is important to fly the drone at a consistent speed.
These drums can be matched with the Drone Traceboard with the Drone tube traces.
The three drums available are
Large drum for the Seahorse Nylon Winch
Smaller drum for the smaller Seahorse Braid Winch.
A drum for the old Braid or WaveFisher winches. These winches have the D section that needs to be removed to remove the drum
